MERCHANT SPOTLIGHT
Preferred Printing

A quiet, small time printer that is ready to make a roar! That is how owner, Tim Gonyer characterized his enterprise, with locations on Northlake Blvd. in North Palm Beach and on Old Okeechobee Road in West Palm Beach. If you are lucky enough to be one of his clients, you know exactly what he means.

This very “high touch” print shop that was established in 1983, is proud that of the 18 full time employees, ten of them have been there 20 years or more. They are indeed a family-run multi-versatile service company that happens to do printing and graphics. Originally a franchise with multiple locations, they chose to become a smaller independent organization, and are becoming increasingly better equipped to meet their local customers where they want to do business.

They have embarked on a 16 week training program to help all the employees do just that. At the end of that process, the website will be completely revamped and they hope to serve the local market even better.

Preferred Printing & Graphics is a member of all the Chambers of Commerce in the area, and is also very involved with local Non-Profits, in fact too many to name them all here. The managers, Kathy in North Palm and Mary and Tamie in West Palm at the production center, are the face of the company and instrumental to the clients that they serve.

Can’t make it into the shop? Not a problem. Representatives are happy to meet with you in your place of business, so you can see and touch the materials and aren’t left to guess what you are seeing online.

When Tim is not working, he likes to golf and fish. His favorite fishing story is of a 500 pound blue marlin that was caught and released out of the Oregon Inlet in the Outer Banks. He and his wife Karen, enjoy attending classic rock concerts.

Stop in and say hello to the team at Preferred Printing and find out for yourself why they go through about a half a million dollars in paper a year!
